Angel in hell (Part 2)- How does Angel live well in hell
Here is a continuation of Part 1, there may be consequtive parts coming in at later stages as I find new ideas to substantiate this philosophy so I decided to name it in parts in order to keep track of the posting.
How does Angel live well in hell?
This question is constantly being replayed in my mind as I witness numerous kind souls that I know being disappointed time and again from the result of being kind in the wrong way.
How many times have we been nice and end up being not appreciated? A question that I know many people ponder on. It seems like being kind is an art as you can't dispense kindness too readily or you will be taken for granted. From this question comes the topic, kind people need to know how to be kind and make sure that their kindness is not being taken for granted as the world is filled with people who are still learning to appreciate things.
The answer I personally feel comes from being able to perform some cruelty to be kind. Some of you may have tried to be nice to a certain someone but ends up being treated coldly and unappreciated. This is due to the fact that people don't like things that are freely available. Diamonds are expensive because they are rare. Given the same condition, if we live on a planet with many diamonds lying around, would you still value it highly? This is a simple demand and supply logic as too much supply of a goods usually comes with a cheapening of the product, if the demand isn't keeping up with the supply.
Feeling is a gradual build up and demand for kindness is a kind of feeling that doesn't rise fast. If you supply too much kindness to anyone who can't take it, you are cheapening yourself and end up being not appreciated. Yes you are just being nice but it is a pity that the other party doesn't need so much kindness. In order for angels, who wants to be kind, to survive in a world filled with not very appreciative people, they must learn to be cruel to be kind. Learn to control the amount of kindness that you are dispensing. A shortage of kindness will increase its value and when supply of it comes, the consumer will be able to value and appreciate more of its prescence.
Being cruel is to be able to stop giving kindness when someone's demand for it is just mild. Await the person to increase his or her demand before dispensing it bit by bit to increase the value of kindness itself. This is on condition that you know that deep in you, you wanted the person to feel appreciative of what you are doing so that your kindness will be received with open arms rather than down the rubbish bin. Being an angel is to be able to provide effective kindness rather than flooding others with kindness which will eventually drown everyone's feelings.
As angel in hell, to live well is to be able to know that we are giving kindness that is appreciated and understood. Excessive kindness is unappreciated kindness. Angels' first purpose in hell is to make sure that the kindness is being appreciated and understood and not just plainly flooding hell with un-needed kindness. You will end up being a unappreciated and irritating angel by others. When you start to question why no one appreciates your kindness and blame the world, pause and instead start to point the finger back and understand that you are the one who is at fault for not being able to spread your kindness effectively.
Well that's enough blogging for now, stay tune for Part III!!!
